Antoinette DuBois Ayers is an executive coach and author of The Coaching Conversation, with more than 25 years of experience developing leaders across healthcare, financial services, public health, and nonprofit sectors. She helps leaders strengthen communication, build high-trust cultures, and create sustainable impact.
An early pioneer in the coaching profession, Antoinette earned her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) certification through the Coaches Training Institute. She later served as Director of Training for the World Association of Business Coaches, helping guide the development of the Registered Corporate Coach credential. She has coached senior leaders across major financial institutions and global organizations.
Her entrepreneurial work reflects a lifelong commitment to building programs that strengthen communities. She co-founded the International Stillbirth Alliance, served as its founding Board Chair, and hosted its inaugural conference at Harvard University. Today, ISA is recognized by the World Health Organization and the Gates Foundation, with member organizations in more than 20 countries. Antoinette’s public health work also includes partnerships with Virginia Commonwealth University, the National Cancer Institute, and the Department of Health Disparities, developing community-based cancer programs across Central Virginia. She currently serves as Director of Facilitator Development at Lodestar, mentoring facilitators and contributing to the development of the organization’s Trauma-Informed Master Mitigation Course (TMMC™) and True North Coaching Certification program.
